Христос воскрес!
Воистину воскрес Христос! Дорогие братья и сёстры! Вот и закончились "дни печальные Великого поста", дни нашего покаянного предстояния и хождения перед Богом. Это были дни осмысления нашего жизненного пути, углубления нашей веры, дни нашего возвращения к предназначению каждого христианина, нашего паломничества к Светлой Пасхе.
Так получилось, что в этом году покаянные христианские дни совпали с тяжёлым испытанием для всего мира, с пандемией коронавируса. Ужас смерти, охвативший, казалось бы, весь живой мир, до сих пор дышит нам в лицо, нарушает душевный покой и привычный распорядок жизни, заставляет всех людей задуматься о происходящем.
В сложившейся ситуации пришло время нам, христианам, сказать своё слово о смерти, о той пограничной тайне, после которой видимая жизнь заканчивается. Чаще всего заканчивается болезненно. Но для нас, христиан, заканчивается не бессмысленно. Смерть не молчит, как кажется многим, она говорит нам о Воскресении. Она пробуждает нашу веру и делает её зрелой.
Во время каждой Страстной недели мы встречаем страдания Сына Девы, Сына, Которого она любила больше всех на свете. Мы встречаем смерть кроткого Царя, невинного Иисуса, которого Бог сделал Христом, Спасителем (Деяния 2:36). Бог же и воскресил Его, того, Кто стал нашим братом, подарив нам надежду выше всякой надежды, как детям Божьим.
Наша жизнь — это не примитивное выживание, это свобода от смерти, это победа любви, победа надежды над отчаянием. Встречая смерть и воскресение Христово, мы учимся не только тому, чтобы быть мужественными перед лицом тайны небытия. Мы вживаемся, входим в новый формат отношений детей Божьих с их Отцом, друг с другом, со всем миром. В свете Воскресения Христова каждый человек обретает новый, небесный смысл жизни, чего я всем вам желаю и с пасхальной радостью благословляю.

Christ is risen!
Christ is truly risen! Dear brothers and sisters! So the "sad days of Great lent", the days of our penitent standing and walking before God ended. These were the days of understanding our life path, deepening our faith, the days of our return to the purpose of every Christian, our pilgrimage to the Holy Easter.
It so happened that this year's penitential Christian days coincided with a severe test for the whole world, with the coronavirus pandemic. The horror of death, which seems to have engulfed the entire living world, still breathes in our faces, disturbs the peace of mind and the usual routine of life, makes all people think about what is happening.
In this situation, it is time for us Christians to say our say about death, about that borderline mystery after which visible life ends. Most often it ends painfully. But for us, Christians, it doesn't end in meaningless ways. Death is not silent, as it seems to many, it tells us about the Resurrection. It awakens our faith and makes it strong.
During each Holy week, we meet the suffering of the virgin's Son, the Son she loved most in the world. We meet the death of the meek King, the innocent Jesus, whom God made Christ, the Saviour (Acts 2:36). God also raised Him up, the one who became our brother, giving us hope above all hope, as children of God.
Our life is not a primitive survival, it is freedom from death, it is the victory of love, the victory of hope over despair. When we meet the death and resurrection of Christ, we learn not only to be courageous in the face of the mystery of non-existence. We are getting used to, entering into a new format of relations between the children of God with their Father, with each other, with the whole world. In the light of the Resurrection of Christ, each person acquires a new, heavenly meaning of life, which I wish to all of you and bless with Easter joy.
